Best ankle holster for Glock 30?
Can someone recommend a good ankle holster for my Glock 30? I want one that is formed to shape, not one of those leather or cloth generic ones like Uncle Mike's. I also don't like the Israeli "Fobus" holsters.
Please, don't bother answering if you want to complain about concealed weapons or gun laws and just accept that I live in a state which permits it. I'm sick of reading irrelevant answers in other questions pertaining to firearms.
I would think that would be too big for carrying on the ankle. I know it would be too big for mine, but I'm 5'2". I found the article below that says the same thing.
Unlike the G26 and G27 sub-compacts and like the G19 and G23 compacts, these pistols are not small enough for pocket carry unless you have awful big pockets. They're also too big to be comfortably carried in an ankle holster by most people. However, they are just dandy for concealed carry in a good holster like one of the better belt slide, pancake, inside the waistband or shoulder rigs. Glock makes an injection-molded polymer belt slide holster for its large-framed guns and it works perfectly for both the new G29 and G30.
I also found the other link when I did a search for ankle holsters. I think you might walk like a duck with these, but who knows they might work. Have you tried a waistband or shoulder holster? You can always do something totally custom, although that can get expensive. Good luck.
