Army Bag - help me choose?
Okay so I'm probably famous on here now for all my army bag questions. For those that haven't come across any of my posts:
I'm in the market for a military backpack. I've been looking far and wide for what the troops are using at the moment but haven't found any exactly matches. Anyway, this is the last post I'll be making on this subject so have at it, please. Help me find something!

Soldiers are using all of these products, because most of them are not issue items. That means that they are not issued but are items that comply with uniform standards which soldiers buy on their own to make life easier. Duffel bags and Rucksacks are issue items, but (at least in the Army) they don't issue ACU/digital Duffels or Rucks. They still issue the green ones.
You have to decide which type of bag you want. If you want to go backpacking, you want a rucksack(backpack with a frame). If you want a large bag to use as check luggage on a plane or something, then you want a duffel bag.
As for regular backpacks Bugout products are sold in the PXs, but it seems like some of these sites are charging way too much for them. Also, check out camelbak gear. Camelbak products are wildly popular bc they hold water and have a convenient drinking system which is pretty handy in hot environments.
Bottom line: buy the cheapest one- probably something in the 40 to 50 dollar range- unless you want a rucksack or a duffel which will probably be much larger than you want. If you want a camelbak backpack it will probably cost you more.
