When the projection angle is more than 45°, the ball will experience more gravitational force and less air resistance, as it is moving in a semi-vertical path.

no. air resistance and gravitational force are exactly the same in both cases.
the only difference between is that for angles less than 45 deg the ball will travel a longer distance because the horizontal component of its velocity is larger.
