What is the best air rifle scope and 30mm scope rings for the RWS 350 magnum air rifles?
I have broken 4 telescopes for my RWS 350 Magnum air rifle. What is the best scope to stand up to the heavy recoil of the rifle? What are the best mounts that will prevent scope shift? What are the strongest mounts that will not break? What are the worst scopes? What are the worst rings or mounts? How can I avoid low point of impact with out having to shim the rear mount? I have broken the RWS adjustable C-Mount. What is the best ring height for a 52mm objective lens? I have a model 450 RWS 30mm tube 4-12x50mm AO/TT/ illuminated mildot reticle with no scope mount that will sustain the recoil of the RWS 350. I am waiting for the "new solid one peice interlocking verticle stop pin mounts" from Umarex USA. So what would I buy to stop wasting time? Accushot? B-Square? Beeman? And what about barrel angle, or elevation zero & adjustment to acquire a resonable zero for elevation without having to adjust all the way up and still not getting on proper point of impact?
For all my magnum guns I only use BKL mounts. RWS, Accushot, B-square, and Beeman all sucks. My guns broke all of them, except the BKL's. The one piece mount uses six screws instead of three like all the other mounts. No slip on the dovetails or in the rings. The BKL also costs twice as much as the other mounts but is worth it.
As far as a scope goes, I got tired of breaking scopes also, so I went with Hawke scopes.

I have this one on my HW80 now for well over 3000 shots and with the BKL, no problems. Before this scope I had a Bushnell Legend on it and it didn't even last 100 shots before the gun broke it. The owners of Straight Shooters air gun shop told me that when they got it in they tried it on ALL magnum springer's and PCP guns and were very surprised how it took the punishment. I believe them, all of my Hawkes are still going strong and I haven't made any adjustments what so ever since mounting them.
