Nikon BuckMaster with BDC Riflescope Zeroing ?
Is it a good idea on Nikon Rifle scope with BDC to unscrew the elev.& windage screws without moving the turrets & bring those turrets dials back to "0" by lifting it up and tighten it back after zeroing at 100 yds so that u can play those turrets for long range elevation & Windage correction ?? Need your view on this matter...thanks.
No....That particular scope isn't designed with resettable dials. Lifting the dial can damage the waterproof seal allowing moisture inside the scope body.
Your BDC reticle's "ballistic circles" should be all that you need to take a accurate shot out to a 600 yard maximum once it has been sighted in per the scope's instructions.
