Seeking Binocular Opinions?
From those of you who have experience with binoculars, how is the "Barska" brand and what's your thought on these specs (beside the exit pupil being rather small)

I see some lobbying here for the 7x50 binos. 
Do you think I can get away with 10 or 12x50 w/out using a tripod?

I once owned a 20x50 monocular, and it was just about useless because of its high magnification and dim image. Get a 10x50 binocular instead...that's what I use 99% of the time. Stick to major brands like Orion and Nikon...Barska is junk.
