Does anyone know what this little piece is for? Blackhawk! Sportster SERPA Holster?
I just bought a Blackhawk! holster for my glock 19 and it came with this little plastic/polymer square shaped piece. It is about 1"x1" and it says SIG in the center. My guess is that it is for a Sig pistol, but I thought I'd ask anyway. The piece also has some sort of hook/tab on one side. Just curious if it may be a part on my holster. The holster seems to work fine as is. Thanks.
What is weird is that my holster is not compatible with any sig pistols...

It is put in the holster by the manufacturer to help prevent the holster from being damaged during packing and shipping. You don't need it for anything once you start using the holster. They are marked according to which holster they are for. Somebody might have used the wrong one that time or it might be used in multiple holster sizes, either way you don't need to worry about it.
