Upgrades for Ruger 10/22.?
I just purchased a ruger 10/22 carbine model with a wooden stock. I would like to install some 1.25' slings swivels. Whats the best way to mount them into the wood, also planning on getting a bolt buffer, extended bolt release (mod), and a extended mag release. Any suggestions on a good brand/place to get them other than

powercustom, gunkings, shootersdiscount are the better of the sites.
the sling studs should come with instructions, there is more than one type, some just screw in to the wood others involve an insert that you epoxy in and the stud screws in to the insert. and if you do some searching you should be able to find a walk through on the internet.
the extended bolt release is somewhat useless, you'll rarely use it but if you get one make sure it is also a auto bolt release, the auto allows you to simply pull the bolt back to release it instead of fumbling with the release.
to be honest the best upgrades I did for mine were powers custom trigger group, green river light weight bull barrel and boyd's evolution stock.
