how can i zero in my rifle scope without getting it bore sighted? (3.9 x 40)?
i have a 3.9 x 40 scope & i need to sight it in, but i can't get it bore sighted. are the other ways to get it done?
If it is a bolt action just prop it up and remove the bolt then look down the bore and center something with the bore.Then without moving the gun line the scope up with the same object (a.k.a bore sighting by eye) i do it all the time it will put you on paper at 100y.
