Springfield XD paddle holster doesn't fit springfield XD9??????? WTF HELP!?
I just got a Springfield XD9 in the 5 in barrel and bought the paddle holster that goes with it and it is difficult to holster my gun and impossible to draw it. It is so tight. I have unscrewed the retention screw and actually have taken it out completely and it is still impossible to draw and holster. Does it take time for them to break in? Is this typical at the beginning. I can't believe it will give to much since it is basically plastic. Is there anything I can do to make it fit better? The casing says it fits my pistol and it's from springfield so it should work.....Please Help!!!!!!!!
It's not the wrong holster. It says on the packaging "fits any spring field XD model (4'' and 5'') so it is the right holster. it looks like its getting caught on the rails where you can put a light or laser dot on.
Do you still have the original belt holster that came with the XD9? If so, compare the two side by side to see if the opening is identical. I thought my XD .40 would fit in the paddle holster that came with my XDM 9mm, but the gun design is just different enough that you can't switch holsters.
