Wanting advice on AR15?
Am looking for an ar15 carbine, have narrowed it down to Bushmaster, Armalite and RRA, what reciever is the most reliable and versitle, want to start with a shortie, carbine then upgrade to a varmite barrel later on.
I like all black rifles but just getting into target/match guns. I really like the offerings from http://star15.com they seem to be built very well with better finish the most of the older/larger company's out there. They also engineer every thing to better than mil-spec which is something only a few makers do. I have owned 2 16 inch models of theirs and both shot under 1 MOA. The bushmasters are over played and the other two are the same unit just assembled at different locations. The Doublestar rifle is build completely in Kentucky except for their wilson barrels. they use on the guns like the one I am debating now. Also they build their rifle completely custom at time of order allowing you to spec out anything you want with one call. They also own ACE LTD and GG&G which means they offer tons of factory installed goodies that are beyond great.
