Will ACU camo work with BDU camo?
I have a acu uniform and i was going to get the acu tactical vest, but i just got a air force BDU so should i get the acu vest still? Will the acu camo work with the BDU?(They are both made for the same enviroment)
It sounds like you might be doing paint ball or something similar. And, I assume that you really mean the Air Force ABU, since they use the same basic colors, just in a different pattern
Using one type of gear with the other type uniform is of no issue for what i think you are doing.
The Air Force Security Force guys here on our joint base use a lot of Army ACU pattern gear on their vests because the stuff is simply not made in their ABU pattern. Unless you look closely at their kit, you can't even tell that they are mixing and matching.
Neither the ACU or ABU pattern uniforms or gear will go with the BDU woodland pattern.
All this said, in reality the ACU and ABU patterns are the worst possible camouflage for almost all environments. I would just go with the old BDU woodland or the new multicam.
