Is the Colt LE 6920 worth it's $1300 price tag?

I am looking to buy my first AR15 or an M4. I like any of the Colt Defense models (in semi-auto only of course) but I DO NOT want a Colt civilian model! They are NOT the same as their military models the 6400C has a permanent muzzle brake and a pinned in place M4 stock. I only say that because I've had people try to tell me they are the same even though they use different parts for their civilian rifles. I have it narrowed down to either Colt, Bushmaster or Armalite and I'm wondering if the Colt product is really worth the price difference. Thanks in advance for any input.
Bushmaster and Armalite are decent, entry-level rifles.... Great for training at the range, getting into the game cheap.
A Colt is a professional-grade weapon. You pay more because you're getting high quality components that are made with better materials, and given much more thorough inspection.
Is the Colt worth $1300? No. While Bushmaster and Armalite don't fall into this category, there are other companies that make rifles that meet or exceed the specifications of a Colt. (This isn't just BSing... It's very quantifiable. Different grades of steel are used, different inspection are undertaken... The differences are more than just "fit and finish".)
When you get a Colt... you pay for the quality materials, and you pay for the inspections.... But you also pay for the Colt name. Companies that are lesser-known but still make good products include, but are not limited to, Daniel Defense, Bravo Company Manufacturing, and Noveske. Noveske makes a really nice rifle, but you will probably pay as much or more than a Colt costs.
Daniel Defense sells complete rifles, which are on par with Colt, and they make some awesome rail systems.
Bravo Company doesn't make rifles, that I know of... But they do sell parts that are of Colt quality.
I think it's definitely worth putting forth a little extra cash and getting a really nice rifle that you will never have any regrets about.... However, unless you're in love with the Colt Pony, you can get rifles that are made to the same specifications and are inspected properly, and have the same great warranty, for several hundred less.
Check this out... Daniel Defense. Great specs.

Here's BCM.... They sell the parts you would need to build a rifle of great quality.
