im building a custom snake tank.. help?
ive seen plenty of vids on tv and they all apply caulk to the edges of the tank. is this really necessary? im going to "seal" it with linoleum stick-on "tile." and its not like my ball python needs alot of water so i dont think sealing the tank is that important in the first place. is it imperitive to seal the edges with caulk ? or would i be okay just applying my linoleum?
no, the linoleum would not block the view, since the whole tank is going to be layered with it , and he will be above it crawling around... and they dont put caulk so you can see into the tank.. wtf are you talking about?
Hon, go to ehow.com. Click on How Tos. Then click on pets. On that page, type, How to build snake tanks. There's alot of ideas from people who have already made one of their own, and give instructions and comments on what they used. I think you'd find your answer there. But, I do know they use Liquid Nails to seal them alot. But, check it out.
