What trends did Midwest hip hop artist start?
A lot of people don't give the Midwest props for things they did in hip hop. There are a lot of trends they set but people don't acknowledge it. Like Thug Music which was brought to the forefront by Bone Thugs, Twista, Psycodrama, Triple Darkness and Do Or Die. Then the great Tupac help bring it up too. But even he admitted that Bone Thugs was the first to do it thats why they did the song together called "Thug Luv". Then clothing wise Midwest rappers back in the day like Crucial Conflict and Bone Thugs brought the Bib-Overalls with the hoodies to the forefront and the Midwest started the fast rap and harmonizing trend that everybody copies but the Midwest doesn't get there just due. What other trends to you think they set?
Crimes. Innocent people getting shot. Women being objectified. And the mother of all annoyances: using the suffix "izzle" at the end of everything they say in hopes of it making themselves "cool".
