What is your opinion on the Dillon square deal reloading press?
I am looking into reloading and haven't heard much about these presses.
They are outstanding presses but you are limited to using Dillon proprietary dies. That's not really a big deal because these presses are best used for loading large amounts of one specific cartridge. Conversion kits are available, but most of the guys that use these presses have one set up for each cartridge.
I use the larger Dillon XL650 because I prefer the automatic case feeder which is not an option on the Square Deal. But if the case feeder wasn't necessary, the Square Deal gives you the automatic indexing and every other feature of the best progressive presses.
