How do you shoot a pistol with both eyes open or using both eyes?
Last father's day, my dad introduced me to target shooting. It was fun. Then, we went target shooting again last Tuesday and Friday, which are the 2nd and 3rd times I experienced target shooting. I have a tried 40 and 45 caliber pistols, M4 and KG-9. I've always closed one eye when aiming with the pistol. While I was shooting, some guy approached me and told me to use both eyes when aiming. I asked my dad how to do it and he told me to look at the target and the red dot on the target of the pistol; then, the red dot will just eventually center between the 2 small squares. He also told me something about the dominant eye. I tried what he told me but what happens is either I see 2 guns or the red dot goes to the sides and is unable to center. Just in case, by red dot, I don't mean the laser pointer. Btw, I'm right handed if you needed to know. I'm also 15 years old.
