I have a JD lawn mower and I've heard about weights for the rear wheels to get more grip when mowing inclines?
I assume that you can read the short question above; to be more detailed; I have a slope grade to the highway for mowing; the DOT graded it that way so that we could mow it with a riding mower at a right angle vs vertical (up and down) I've read on the web about weights that you mount to the rear wheels for more traction and keeping it from tipping over. There is only a small section where it wants to tip. Thanks in advance for your co-operation.

Yeah they sale weights for yard tractors at all John Deere dealerships, my only concern with this is if you add the weight to the back( if I understand you right) I think it will increase your tip over ratio. I think if you can put the weights on the front or even look at their walk behind mowers, they are real nice!
