Ratio of low profile to standard duck decoys?
I was wondering, in your spread, what would the best ratio be in regards to low profile drakes, standard drakes, and hens.
The Hens are low profile and standard (top), the standard drake (middle), and low profile drake (bottom).

In regards to putting them in a spread. Also, how many drake to hen in general?
I have hunted ducks for thirty years and have hundreds of decoys. I have never heard of a low profile decoy. So I assume you are referring to resting or relaxed position. I never worry about a ratio in my spread. There is no rule as to how many ducks will be resting as opposed to being alert in any real situation. The key to success is movement in the spread. Motion wing decoys were great for about the first ten years, but I think ducks are wary of them now. Going back to the old ways of jerk lines seemed to help a bit. Try that before worrying about decoy ratios.
