Have you ever adopted a pet from the pound or rescued a animal from a harmful situation?
Last August my son & girlfriend were walking in the park when a adorable cute puppy ran up to them. The owners said if you want a free dog you can have her or we are going to kill her. They brought her home to me and after a trip to the vet I found out she was a Yorkie/ cocker spaniel and another kind of terrier cross. She was only 4 weeks old and the vet also removed a shot gun pellet from her leg.
Almost a year later "Abby" is such a joy to me. I just don't understand some people all they could have done was drop her off at a no-kill shelter we have in our town if they couldn't get rid of her. But I am glad she came into my life, I really think she was meant to be my baby!
Thank you and your family for loving Abby. My husband and I are animal rescuers and have rescued, adopted ourselves, adopted out and helped people find the companion of their dreams for 43 years now. People who love their animals as they should know a special kind of joy. I am glad you found yours
