What was it called and where can I find black enamel?
In the military we had this black enamel that was used to do touch up on many of the metal items on our gear. Such as button snaps on ruck sacks, eyelets on boots, and your duty belt buckle. I remember it came in a small glass bottle and had an applicator brush in the lid. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.
If someone knows could they remind me what it was and perhaps suggest some place I can order or buy it from? I have been ot of the military for 7 years now so I can't just hop up onto base and hit the PX.
Thank you in advance for any answers or advise.
Tried going to that web site and no luck finding it there. Anyone else know where to get it off of a base?
EM-NU. Hell I prob got a couple of bottles in my duffle bag na dI got out in 98. I know I have KIWI out the ying yang, and I still have a can of Brasso. LOL! If you can't find it a a surplus store, try some black fingernail polish. That worked for me in a pinch once in 89 during a TA-50 inspection. My daughter was very upset!
