how to get your parents to like airsoft?????
I'm faced with a serious problem. My parents don't like airsoft but i really want to try it. The problem is they have no clue about the sport. When i say can i get an airsoft gun they hear the word gun and automatically say no. I tried to tell my mom that it is one of the safest sports if you wear safety goggles and possibly a heavy sweatshirt. When i told her that she said that she doesnt like it because you have to wear protection!!! I know, how lame. If anyone has any answers for me i they would be much appreciated. All answers accepted =)

IDK If you've ever tried it, but it really doesn't hurt at all. You can feel it, but you won't ever be lying on the floor crying from the pain. Only safety issue is eyes, and if you wear goggles you should be fine.
See if you can just shoot at targets, then maybe once you prove your maturity they will let you play with people. Just ask for a little bit at a time.
