knives on ryan air flights?
Can i bring a fillet knife, and another stronger cut knife on a ryan air flight as checked in luggage
ryan air rules
http://www.ryanair.com/en/questions/what-items-are-prohibited-in-checked-in-baggage
Women on the phone from ryan air help desk also immediatly said its forbiddin to bring in any form of weapons
I find it hard to belive that its forbidden in checked in luggage ....
i tought if i report an item like that before departure and have a decent explanation on why i need it, it would be ok
but cant find anything about that ...
If anyone can help, im seeing my fishing trip going f"cked right now ![]()
Everyone keeps giving me conflicting information
some people recommend to report it to your airline in advance, before checkin in ... but no where on ryan air site at manage booking is there any sign of this option .... so looks like i better leave my fishing gear at home ... s"cks
Provided the knives are properly protected in your checked luggage, so they cannot come through the side when the case is mishandled (as it will be), you will not have a problem.
