Clutch release bearing santa fe?
Hi All I have just removed the gearbox from a 2001 hyundai santa fe. I have removed the clutch plate and pressure plate. I have made sure that the new clutch is on correctly. There is a special type of release bearing that sits in the gearbox on the shaft and once the box is re-fitted, you press the clutch pedal the release bearing should attach itself to the clutch plate. However the problem i'm getting is the clutch pedal locks solid. I pressed it that hard that I blew the clutch master cylinder. I've taken the box out three times and checked and greased everything, but still no joy. Any idea thanks in advance.
listen hear, remove the box reset your fork Between ring space, then you start.
you have a screw on the gear box loosen the screw outward then put the box back then tighten it 6 turn in (360) feel the clutch too your liking if you need too turn it down more only 4 and a half turn down your problem should be solve. good luck god bless.
