Why does my bulldog chase a laser pointer like a cat, but the other 3 dogs don't respond to it at all?
My bulldog will chase the little dot of red light for hours while the other three dogs in the house act like they can't see it at all. The other dogs are a collie, a great dane mix, and a dalmation. I know that dogs have a hard time seeing red and green and the laser is red - so, any thoughts on this?
i'm not sure why some dogs do this, but growing up we had 3 dogs, and the youngest went crazy, she would even run straight into walls, she was so focused on it...the other two seemed to see it, but not care...the one that did also would stare at her shadow for minutes at a time too...i'm not sure how the two puppies i have now would react
