Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 magnum?
I just brought one home today that the gun dealer ordered for me.
After first shooting, the recoil is very manageable, even with some (somewhat) hot loads.
Trigger is clean and relatively light. Single-action is pretty smooth. Grip is comfortable, and the moderate recoil puts your thumb in perfect position over the hammer to pull it back for the next shot.
So the question is, WHY DIDN'T I HAVE ONE OF THESE SWEET LITTLE DANDIES EARLIER ???!!!
Thanks for the concern about neighbors but the nearest one is 2 miles away.... hunting gun....
My guess is that you didn't get one before because you had a tiny bit of bias against single-action revolvers but I dunno. You should have lots of fun with it.
