Whats the price of an mossberg 500 road blocker?
i am new to the gun world i just want to shoot slugs whats the best brand of ammo for long distance shot. this gun is for home protection and whats the best gun cleaning system out there kit brand etc i new at guns need all the help i can get THANKS GUYS!
Best brand?.... Who knows!..... I regularly shoot slugs with my Mossberg 500 and 590 shotguns and the best ammo for my use is the Federal 2 3/4 cartridges HP model F127 RS.....

The Federals are more accurate than the Remington sluggers and have a slight less perceived recoil.......
Best cleaning kit?..... You going to like this.... Tampons!.... Yup - That's right -- The best way to clean a shotgun barrel is with what the mrs uses.....

I though this guy was putting me on until I cleaned my barrels this way.... No more running patch after patch that never gets a barrel clean anymore......
Long distance shots huh.... I shoot at steel plates / gongs set up at 100 yards and shoot at those --- When you hit them you can see them swing and hear a loud plink thru your earplugs.... Forget paper targets - its lame and you never know if your really hitting the paper unless you have a spotting scope..... With metal gongs you get more of a feel for the shotgun.....
