can you use silicone gun oil 35 to lubricate internals of an airsoft gun?
i bough this not so long ago, on the tin it says "do not use as a metal to metal lubricant" but on the site where i bough it, they state "A light spray down the barrel of your gun or on any working parts ensures easy movement and high accuracy." I'm just wondering if anyone else has used this as a moving part lubricant and if it would brake my gun if i did?
Don't use it in the internals, it's not made for that. Silicone oil is used for rubber parts (O-rings, hop-up bucking, etc) and for the barrel of the gun, not for internals. For the internals you want to use White Lithium Grease. Grease is what you want to use on the majority of the internals like the gears and piston. And use silicon oil on the piston head o-ring, cylinder, and cylinder head.
