Our troops today wear elastic bands on their helmets with reflective strips on the back. This helps soldiers on the march at night to keep visual contact with others in front of them. Did US soldiers wear these cats-eye bands in Vietnam?

"Cats Eyes"....."Ranger Eyes"..... in bands.....on the helmet cover.....on a patrol cap.....some even sewed them under the back of their BDU collar....... this stuff has been around a long time....
