I need help with taxidermy?
I need help with mounting a fox head.
I'm making a fox rug, and it's the first time making a taxidermy item.
I have the basics down, but I need help understanding them and the best techniques. I have all the supplies as well, but I still am learning about what they are used for and how.
I don't want it coming out like crap xD I know the first one won't be perfect, but I really want it to be good.
List of supplies:
Rehydration Solution
Hide paste
acryllic paint
Super glue
T-pins
Caliper
Rug Shell form
Is that all I need? Please help me with the techniques, etc.
Also, it's a cross fox, and he doesn't have full lips. Is he still suitable for taxidermy even though he doesn't have lips? Still new to taxidermy, trying to learn everything possible before I begin. This is also a tanned pelt.
