Have this many High Profile Pitchers ever been flat out Released by Teams, as have this year in MLB?
John Smoltz, Vincente Padilla, Brad Penny, Mark Prior, Livan Hernandez, Odalis Perez (released by the Nationals at that lol), Jeff Weaver,... a few others with recognizable names, just cut loose and discarded liek day old bread.. Has it happened to this extent in a season before?
