How Do I Get My Mom to Let Me Ride in Cars With People?
Alright so, I'm a cheerleader. Fourteen year old freshman in high school. I have my driving permit and I always wear my seat belt. I'm a top-of-the-class student and completely trustworthy. Problem is, my mom absolutely refuses to let me ride anywhere in a car with anyone twenty-one or younger. I have tried to explain to my mom that I'm mature and responsible enough, but all she does is yell at me and tell me I'm too young or that I'm too immature. Or says like she doesn't feel comfortable with it. All I wanted to do was go tanning with a Junior who can drive. I'm sick of being the stupid lame freshman who's parents are overprotective snobs. Please help me?

I drive everywhere and I do not trust other drivers. There are a lot of idiots and careless people on the roads. Many times I have been almost hit by people whom have no brains. There are so many accidents that happen because people were being too reckless.
It seems that there are very few people that take other people's lives into account.
Its a scary world on the road...I think that your parents are being smart about it. If your mom is uncomfortable then chances are its not going to happen for you...you need to realize that she is the mom and your the child...you do not get to pick and choose whatever you want.
