hole in the head or fighting?
had my discus for about 5 months now their about 9-10 month old, their home bred discus, their just starting to fight each other just notice afew marks on the main 2 discus faces around the mouth, could this be hole in the head or is this bites marks, should i be worrying? is their a cure and what is it called please help me i love my fish i dnt want them to die i have worked so hard ;(
what you mean spinach you buy from the supermarket? if yes do i need to do cut it up or dried it out or somethink? were do i get fish zole ect from?
Are the wounds around the facial sensory pores and fairly symmetrical? If so, I'd start treating for HITH immediately. Using a food processor to blend some beef heart (yes, beef heart) and/or bloodworms with a decent amount of spinach would be a good start, as the extra vegetable matter will help provide less commonly received nutrients, as would soaking the mixture in metronidazole (Flagyl, Hexamit, Fish Zole, etc.) or other internal parasite treatments like Clout.
