Need help deciding which paintball pistol to buy?
Alright so I currently own a tippy 98 custom that I've thrown some accuracy and aesthetic mods onto. I'm a woodsball/scenario player, so I'm not worried about fire rate and whatnot, just accuracy and reliability. So, my question is what is the best paintball pistol I could get (as a sidearm) for preferably under $150, $200 at the most. I've been looking at the new TPX and it looks great, but the rap4 T68 looks pretty damn good as well and for a lot less. I want something that has a good feel to it and fits well in a holster, so any info you guys could give would be greatly appreciated. Also, mags is a must, I don't want to have to sit there with a tube trying to reload my pistol while people are popping shots off at me, want a quick change out and be good to go.
I would look at either the T8 or TPX. RAP guns are not exactly know for their quality. They function well but not as good as others that are on the market for a few extra bucks. Like you mentioned, the main selling point on the RAP pistol is the lower price.
The Tiberius T8 is currently receiving a revamp... the new T8.1 is now available and is replacing the standard T8. The T8.1 is equipped to shoot both standard .68 cal balls as well as the new Tiberius Arms First Strike paintballs (which are wickly accurate). The TPX is a solid performer. Benefits of the TPX is going to be parts availability from aftermarket companies. Barrel and trigger upgrades will likely flood the market after the christmas season when many more TPX's land in the hands of woodsballers.
