9mm sccy skky compact handgun?
would like to know if the 9mm sccy or skyy is a good gun or is it a pice of junk someone has one for sale wants $250 comes with holster & mag holder
I didn't know what you were talking about. I'd never heard of this brand of firearm. I guess it was originally called Skky but someone else had that name copyrighted already and I'm assuming they lost their court case. So they changed the name to Sccy which they want you to pronounce as sky but it looks like it should pronounced sucky. When I was searching on line I found a discussion forum on the Sccy CPX-1 which is the gun you are most likely considering. The general consensus was that with the exception of one poster they all wish they had never bought it. They did say that the guns in the 17,000 serial number range were a little better in function the early ones had lots of problems with feeding and failure to fire. One guy said that now he can't get rid of it that no one will buy it or even trade with him for it. My advise to you is to pass on it especially for $250. He knows it's a piece of sh*t and is trying to correct his mistake. I think the correct pronunciation is SUCKY after all.
