I need help with the book I am writing?
I am writing a western book, and when this person gets shot in the chest the person who won the duel takes the other guys gunbelt. Can u please help me describe the steps the guy who won the duel has to take to get the gunbelt... it's the typical gunslinger belt, IE belt with a hip holster that the cowboys used
A best answer picked I will give that person credit for their answer it my book
im going to use jonathan as the guy taking the belt and ben as the guy who was shot. you can change the names later.
Jonathan looked down at Ben, the bloody wound oozing from the dead man's chest. Scoffing, Jonathan kicked Ben's boot to make sure he wasn't with us anymore. When Ben didn't move, Jonathan kneeled to the ground, spit into the dusty atmosphere, and started to remove Ben's gun belt. As Jonathan was working at the knot, Ben's body started fighting back. His fingers twitched, alerting his former opponent of his presence. Jonathan reacted quickly. He snatched his pistol from his own gun belt and shot Ben once more. With a satisfied grunt, Jonathan quickly returned to stealing Ben's gun belt. He undid the buckle and started to tug at the leather strip. But the belt wouldn't remove itself from Ben's body.
Jonathan stood and placed his foot on top of Ben's punctured chest. He got a good grip to the belt and tugged with all his might. The belt flew forwards and smacked Jonathan's dirty forehead, leaving a red mark streaking across his left brow bone. But the deed was done. Jonathan had gotten his wish, and Ben had lost the battle.
