Why office workers always seem to be most unhappy workers?
I've come across people in all types of jobs like elevator repairmen, security officers, building maintenance, rental car agent, custodian, airport ticket agent, nurse, warehouse laborer, etc. These people that work these jobs are regular go to work and come home fine folk. In my experience, it's the office workers I come across that seem they may bring a gun to work soon. There is always some drama going on and cut throat situations playing out. Now that I think about it, the news always portray office workers coming back to shoot everyone when they get fired . The guy that sweats in the warehouse throwing boxes on the truck all day, comes home with a smile. Office workers out there, what's the deal with office jobs.
Sorry, instead of typing always seem to be most unhappy workers I should have placed often in place of always.
Some are happy of course. But there are a lot of negatives to office work. You are right there in one place all the time with no change of scenery where the boss and your co workers can bug you. Worse yet, you work on whatever you do, but you don't actually make anything tangible- like fixing a toilet or loading a whole truck.
