Hunting Knife Guru's? Advice?
Hunting Knife Guru's? Advice?
I saw this knife on Ebay. I just want a good, not too expensive, but not cheap piece of **** knife. For hunting and tactical/survival stuff - Bear Grylls stuff. Tell me if you think this knife would do the job.

If not, do you have any suggestions?
I tried the link and it didn't work so I'll try to help with a few manufactures' names.
Cold Steel..many types of knifes..many with different purposes but I really like the master hunter.
Western..They have been around for many years and make good inexpensive knifes.
Buck..Very good knives.
EK...also very good knives..some are more to military use but could double as a hunting knife.
Schrade..You get good steel but sometimes the knife edge angle is wrong..you just got to correct it with a oil stone.
Smith and Wesson..yes they make knives to..good steel but usually dull as a butter knife.
There are way more than I can think of at the moment. This should give you a good start.
Don't discount going to garage sales..especially if you live in a rural area...you can find really good old knives cheap sometimes.
