Hunting Rifle Scope
Hunting Rifle and Scope?

Was interested in buying a hunting rifle and buying a scope for it. Haven't hunted in a while but I'm not a beginner when it comes to shooting them so I don't need a beginner rifle. Want one that has good distance and punch... When it comes to the scope I want a quality scope.. As for the money, I know you pay for what you get... I'm looking to pay 500-800 dollars total..Any Suggestions??? Thanks
I will be hunting deer for the most part...Never really hunted anything else. not sure how the caliber thing works...Power wise

You didn't say what kind of hunting you plan on doing.
For deer hunting I have a Marlin 30/30 with a Bushnell 3-9X40 scope.
For small game I recommend a Ruger 10/22 with a 4X30 scope.
You could probably get them both and still come in under 800 bucks.
