How big of a hydration bladder should I get for my pack?
I feel like this should be obvious, and I'm probably just overlooking the answer, but how do I know what size bladder I should put in my hydration compatible pack? I just bought a Granite Gear Habanero 28L day pack and need to buy a reservoir. I'm strong and willing to carry more water than necessary, so if I have an option for what sizes I can use, bigger is better. Are all the major brands (Camelbak, Platypus, etc.) one-size fits all? Thanks for helping!
Ok, very poetic, but truly unhelpful. I bought the backpack for work, almost specifically for the hydration compatible feature. Enjoy your water bottle (a water bottle was once a strange and unaccepted invention too, don't knock progress) and someone please answer my question.
some where in the pack makers specs for the pack it will list the max size of the bladder it can hold. all the major makers make bladders with different capacities.
