The Israeli's claim Hamas uses civilians as 'human shields' in Gaza, but for that tactic to work the IDF...?
...would need to show a little humanity. The Israeli army would be happy to kill 40 women and children if it also resulted in one Hamas death. So, is the Israeli claim just another lie?
Well it's becoming more and more evident that the Israelis have lied in a lot of circumstances, like when they fired on the UN school but admitted later that firing hadn't come from inside the school but near by.
The Hamas do hide amongst civilians. To meet the Israeli army in the open would basically be a complete surrender. But they certainly can't force the IDF to fire into crowds of children to kill them.
If somebody had murdered my daughter, and I couldn't possibly hate them anymore, I still would not kill just one innocent to get at that person. The IDF are quite clearly acting without any thought to humanity. Or perhaps, if they think they are, they don't consider the Palestinians human. Which is also quite possible. Dehumanization is how atrocities like these happen. It's what the Nazis did to convince their followers they could do the things they did.
