I need help with an issue at work (urgent)?
I just got a job (entry level) at a fortune 500 banking/checking company. I work in a secluded back room where I sort checks into this machine thing. The machine is very loud and I have highly sensitive ears, so this is terrible. Just a few minutes of being in that room gives me a earache. I bought super high quality ear muffs, but they are way too tight and bulky and weigh too much. I then tried ear plugs, but my ear canals are so tiny that I can't fit any ear plugs in properly. What I need is some sort of headphone, ear muff, earphone (etc...) type thing that I can comfortably wear for 6-8 hours a day. The machines aren't "industrial" type loud, but it is still rather loud. Loud enough that I need some sort of protection. Maybe something that is not as soundproof as the stuff I got, but something will still help my ears, while allowing me to wear it comfortably for extended periods of time. THANK YOU so much in advance!
Fit-To-Be-Tried disposable earplugs, they are great and comfortable, you forget they are there.
Available at shops which sell power tools etc. They come in little square packets like single dosage pain pills.
good luck.
