What of the following subject would help me in the future?
I'm in the process of picking the elective subjects that I want to do for year 9. My plan for after highschool is to join the army as an engineer and by the time I'm 22 I will be qualified for everything =D Anyway, I have 2 questions today, the first one being :
What will I be qualified after around 5 or 6 years in the Australian Army as an engineer?
and
Is this a good combination of subject to do for next year? (If not, suggest something that I should do):
-Metal Techonology
-Food Technology
-IT Electronic Publishing*
-IT Software Prgraming*
-Financial Literacy
-People, Power, Politics
-Media Analysis
-Digital Art
*There are 3 IT clases, but I chose not to do Business Programming
On top of those electives I have the core subjects like RE, Maths, History, English and Science. I am not doing Italian or Japanese as I hate them 
These are the subjects I am taking =D
I know Foodtech isnt going to get me anywhere...its just that it's filling up a space =D
if you are going to be an engineer in the military food tech isn't really going to get you to far.
i would suggest from your list, taking IT software programming. Metal technology and IT electronic publishing
