Medical question. Please advise?
Hello all...
Last Tuesday, I was playing with this knife. It's serrated and the blade is about 4 inches long and has a white pearl handle. So, I was poking around with it near my abdomen, and then my big black lab, Sampson, ran over and nudged me and it got kind of lodged into my abdomen, near my navel. It hurts like hell. It's stuck in there about 2 and a half inches, and I've been trying for the last few days to pull it out. There's a bit of blood, not too much, but there is some kind of infection setting in because I have a high fever. It's really inconvenient for sleeping and wearing shirts is an adventure. I called the Emergency room, but it's such a long wait, and it's so boring sitting around there. Any advice as to what I should be doing about this sticky situation?
OH thats easy !!
wrap a piece of bacon around the knife. Let your dog rip out the knife as he grabs for the bacon, as soon as he does, shove a cork in the hole. Your good to go.
