What would be a good price for this rifle?
My boss has a rifle he is wanting to sell me. I am not sure of the specifics but I know that it is a left handed 300 mag, remington 700 with a stainless barrel, laminated stock, and flat stainless scopemounts(leupold). He is asking 600 with no scope. As far as age, I think the gun is at least 4 years old.
Not a bad price if its in good conditon, but my gut reaction while reading your question was $500. The 300 rem mag is a harsh & expensive round, but it will put down any game on the continent. Age doesnt matter much, as long as its in good shape.
He's likely going to have a harder time selling a lefty, so if you need one that works in your advantage.
