Can you take the Laser and Flashlight off of the Gamo Varmint Hunter Scope?
I'm thinking about buying one, and I need to know because I only need the flashlight for night hunting and i don't need the laser at all, and I want it off.
Also,
how accurate is this gun?
What pellets does it 'like'?
I've heard from many different people that the scope that comes with it is low quality, what scope should I get for a second scope, that's maybe about $100 or less?
And one more question, what other gun could I get that shoots lead pellets around 1000fps (not too much more please) that has a synthetic stock, and is very accurate, for hunting where the exact vital spot has to be hit every single time?
Thank you
Actually, for the last question, it doesn't have to be a synthetic stock.
Also, what do you think about the Gamo Hunter Sport, is it accurate and powerful enough to take out big bunnies, and accurate enough to do so every single shot?
thank you again.
rws 34 is a better quality gun and more accurate in my opinion! adventuresinairguns.com has them for $190synthetic or $195wood. they also sell scopes! make sure that the scope is airgun rated. spring guns vibrate really hard and can damage most scopes. ive killed many bunnies with airguns and i think 22 is better for rabbits and squirrels, but 177 will work with a temple shoot! rws super domes, jsb exacts, beeman fts and crossman premiers are good pellets worth trying, but each gun may like something different. yes you can take laser or light off and gamo hunter is good enough. 1000fps is just advertising, but it will get 900fps which is not bad! dont use the pba ammo, it will damage the gun in the long run! hope this helps
