LMS_UNI_G Laser Sights from LaserMax?

If I were to purchase the Uni-Green laser sight, would the laser itself be visible like the ones shown in the pictures on the link I posted above? Or are laser sights like that only available for police and military applications?
To see a laser beam trace in the air with a standard 5mW laser would require darkened conditions with a mist or dust. The beam would be most visible under those conditions from the targets point of view do to "forward scatter". The green spot on the target, however, would be visible in very bright sunlight at 20 to 50 yards which is the purpose of a laser weapon sight. To see the beam in daylight would indeed require more than 100mW of green laser light.
