Simple question about Laser Sight Rods?
Hello, I have a Springfield XD9 and would like to get a laser sight that goes into the gun like this one:

I did some research and the cheaper ones that mount on the rails sometimes come off or they cannot fit in my holster so I rather choose this type of laser that replaces the rod. I am wondering how it turns on and off? Do I press the laser with my finger like a pushbutton type action or do I have to do some extra things to run the laser button to another part of the gun?
On the standard XD (the XD(m) is different), it alters the configuration of the disassembly lever. You press in on the lever with the trigger finger until it clicks. The laser turns on. Pressing in on the other side will slide it over again and turn it off.
