Best holsters for a S&W J-Frame Revolver?
I've got a S&W 340PD--a .357 Magnum snubbie--and I'm looking for a couple of holsters for it.
The first holster I need is a pocket holster. I'm not particular about the materials, but I want it to be as thin as possible, while still breaking up the gun's print.
The second would be a belt holster, with a retention device--preferably NOT a strap (I hate straps, and the gun being hammerless, a strap wouldn't likely work anyway.) I prefer leather, but will consider options. Although it will be an OWB holster, I sitill want it to be as small as possible, for concealment under an untucked shirt.

all the above answers are good but i would try your local police supply store that way you can actually see,touch,feel,and try different holsters. they are the experts if the field and know what works and what does not. my second choice would be try a sporting goods store that carries holsters
