Any reason why I should put my laser and light on top of my scope instead of at side?
I've got a BSA Tactical XL fitted with a basic 1" scope for shooting rabbit and hare.
Just bought a BSA varmint hunter pro.
I'm fitting it just now and thinking, with the laser and light on top of the 1" scope as instructed, the laser line is a fair bit higher than the line if fire.
So, its not going to be very accurate, Other than at the distance where to two lines cross.
Would it not make sense to slide it round side and put laser as close the the barrel as i can.
Every review or picture i find has it at the top though.
The light and the laser both sit in a bracket that goes onto the 1" scope.
I can only slide it round so its lower than the scope and very close to barrel.
If i could get it right underneath, that WOULD be the perfect solution.
If i can find out some way of getting weaver rail to attach to a standard fitting that would be best and ill take scope off.
